Why should you join Toronto Gaels?

The Toronto Gaels are one of Toronto's longest-standing GAA clubs and for nearly four decades, we have been far more than just a football team.

We are a community. A home away from home for the Irish abroad, and a warm welcome for anyone curious enough to give Gaelic football a go. Our members come from all walks of life, Irish expats, Irish-Canadians, and Canadians who had never heard of GAA before walking through our door. In fact, some of our Canadian members have gone on to represent Canada at the World GAA Games and will again this year at the 2026 World Games in Waterford.

On the pitch, we field both Men's and Women's teams across the Toronto GAA League and Championship, competing at the highest level in the city. Back-to-back Men’s Senior Champions and 2025 Montreal Cup winners.

Off the pitch, we are just as active. A full social calendar of events, trips, and the kind of connections to home that are hard to find anywhere else in this city.
